Come to Cornwall with its magnificent golden sandy beaches, breathtaking views from majestic cliff tops, quaint historic stone-built harbours and villages and tranquil wooded river estuaries.
There is so much to see within easy driving distance. Indeed, it takes only about 30 minutes to drive the fifteen miles from St. Agnes on Cornwall's rugged Atlantic coast to Falmouth on the mellower Riviera (southern) coast.
In Spring the Cornwall Gardens Festival offers the opportunity for you to visit Cornwall's greatest gardens at their most colourful. Fishing trips and pleasure cruises are available throughout the season. For the more energetic there are hours of fun to be had surfing, and miles of excellent walking, with magnificent views, along the Cornish coast path. There are three 18-hole golf courses (charging very reasonable green fees) within seven miles of our hotel. There are theme parks for the younger visitors and a host of other things to do and places to visit.
Rosemundy House Hotel is based on an elegant Queen Anne residence, (click on the picture at the top of the page for a larger view), tastefully extended and converted to provide warm and comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms with w.c.s, colour TV, direct dial telephones, modem points, hair driers and beverage tray.
Our hotel is situated in secluded and sheltered gardens and woodland extending to some four acres, yet only a hundred yards from the main street in the unspoilt village of St. Agnes. We are less than a mile from the beach at Trevaunance Cove and one and a half miles from Chapel Porth (car parking available at both beaches).
St. Agnes is an excellent centre for exploring Cornwall, being only three miles from the main A30 trunk road and not suffering the traffic problems of larger resorts in busy periods. We have ample car parking space in our tarmac car park in the grounds. If you just feel like relaxing, why not sunbathe by our heated outdoor pool (above), play croquet or putting on the lawn. Our extensive grounds provide a haven to relax.
At the end of the day relax in the olde worlde atmosphere of our "Tom Noggi" restaurant where you can dine on freshly prepared traditional English fayre. You can indulge yourself on a delicious five-course meal followed by coffee each evening.
We think you will agree, when you see our tariff that our prices for food and accommodation are extremely reasonable for the quality which we offer. See you at Rosemundy this year?
